Help me find an AM2 Dual Gigabit motherboard!

Thread Starter
As the title says, I need an AM2 motherboard with 2 gigabit RJ45 connectors.
The older(cheaper) it is, the better.
Brand, model, and all other specs are irrevelant.

What options do I have?
well, first off why do you need a dual gigabit motherboard? your still limited by your network speeds and internet speeds.

second, is an addon nic not an option?

third, only one i know of is a JetWay JNC81-LF, but its a little... small.

I have a router that is totally capable of handling multiple gigabit links.
Thanks for the suggestion, as I said the only thing that matters is the RJ45 links so I don't care how small it is.

is this to act as a server?

in which case id recommend dedicated nic cards.

List of dual gigabit boards on newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...e=2368%3A14899

I will say however, a NIC would be cheaper and more effective. don't waste your time getting a new mobo.

buy one of these and be done with it.

Yes, it will act as a server. I am not getting a "new" mobo, I am simply getting a mobo. It's the only component I still need to finish building the server. Unfortunately I am very low on cash and a dedicated NIC would mean extra spending.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I live in Italy so I don't think I'll get it, shipping rates are outrageous.

EDIT: Can you think of any old(er) AM2 mobos that I could buy off of eBay?

I don't get why you're so dead-set on getting a new mobo, but...
would one of THESE + THIS work?
If 690g/740g is too old for you(it is limited to HT1000 vs HT2600 of AM2+), get a 760g or higher board like THIS
But TBH , I would not use either of those boards because DDR2 prices are going up just like DDR1 did. If you're re-using ram from another system though, it doesn't matter.

LOL "dead-set on getting a new mobo"..

Apparently I wasn't clear. I don't have an old motherboard. I don't have ANY motherboard. I need one to build the server!
So, because I am on a very low budget, I figured I could save some money if I just get some old dual gigabit motherboard off of eBay...
All the other components are stuff that I had lying around. I have the CPU, RAM and everything else.
