Video Driver constantly crashing in Win7 64 bit

Thread Starter
Driver: 266.58

My video driver is constantly crashing and then re-starting so much I have to restart my compupter to fix it. Once restarted, it works anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours before going into a crash/reboot/crash cycle in which I have to reboot again. I've tried the last three major Nvidia driver packages with the same result.

Help?

Are you at stock clocks or overclocked? I know this happens to me a lot if my overclock isn't stable enough

This is either bad CPU or GPU overclock, or a problem with the card.
Have you tried running everything at stock and see?

Yeah this pretty much...your clocks might be too high.

Or you can use driversweeper as well as the clean Nvidia sweep option...also the WHQL drivers came out recently so you should get those instead!

If you continually get display driver crashes, it is either a bad driver install, unstable OC, or broken video card.

I had problems with the 266 drivers too when everything else was going just fine. I used the new drivers and it's been fine.

lol at people that say ATI has bad drivers. I've had more driver problems with NVIDIA than I ever did with ATI.
