new fans for antec 900 - Page 2

I own both the CM R4's and Antec Tri-cools. Tri cool move's more air and makes less noise... I think buying non led fans and adding lights would be your best bet tri cools are rated at over 70 CFM( I want to say 77-79 CFM on the high setting off the top of my head) realy hard to beat. I spent lots of money(im not even kidding) on blue led fans trying to out do the Tri cools. Ended up using the R4's for the collermaster 212, and tri-cools everywhere else.

I'm going to use a 3 San Ace 1011's on my cooler, and use Ap-30's or 1900 RPM slip streams and do This to the case fans. That way all my fans will be around the same CFM, but ill have the static pressure where I want it, and I'll get what ever color led's I want hope this helps

I do like the tricool fans and found this http://www.tech-forums.net/pc/f10/mo...e-fans-234420/ witch shows you where to add the yellow wire on a tricool fan to add rpm readout on a fan controller. do you think this is a good idea?

Yeah, two 120mm will move more APM. but one 200mm has less noise per volume. That's the main advantage. With a top fan, you don't need that high RPM because heat moves upwards anyway... At least that's how I look at it

well I attached the third yellow wire to one of my tricool fans and now my fan controller shows the rpm of that fan on the display.

I have now added the missing yellow wire to 3 120mm tricool fans now and they work great showing the rpm on my fan controller. so now I do not need new fans. but thanks for all the help.
