I Mild stuttering while having triple buffer and v sync. When i turn it off it goes away for the most part. I can't do without it, the screen tearing annoys the crap out of me. I tried older drivers with the same problem. This never use to be a problem before. It started about a month ago and the only things that changed on my computer is window updates. Really gay i don't know what else to do.

Tripple buffering is for OpenGL games. Also, what game are you talking about?

Not entirely true. It can be forced through other programs like Rivatuner.

Yes, and no. It's a good thing OpenGL has, but some game developers have also implemented Triple Buffering for DirectX. Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 have it for example.

To the OP: sometimes Windows update also updates the graphics driver - that could be your problem, maybe the newer driver doesn't work that well with your card. Just the other day Windows update had the new driver from Nvidia for me to install, but I have already told Windows not to install GPu drivers automatically, so it just stays there on the optional stuff, unchecked.
