What would you say is a high enough 5xxx? Would a 5670 that I can get for $60 be enough, or would the performance jump between the 5670 and 5770 be great enough to constitute the extra $40?

5770 is a great card, main difference between the two is the core clock and the 5770 has double the stream processors. I think its worth it, if your gonna spend any money at all your better off spending the extra instead of regretting getting the cheaper one later. I cheaped out originally and bought the 4670, great card but it wasn't enough so now I have the 6870. If I had just paid that to begin with I'd be 60 bucks richer.

Yeah, lol. Well, if I end up spending $100 on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-898-_-Product and just try to recycle a case instead of getting a $40 one, I might be able to make it work

I'm at $290 now with this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=biostar%20770, triple core 3.2gh, 4gigs 1600 ram, 500w stealthxstream 2 psu, 5770, and no case. I guess I can look for a $10 or $15 case on craigslist or something, haha.

Thanks for all the help.
