Yet another silly poll question.

OK if you could have only one which would it be:

1. 16 core CPU a 3.4GHz unlimited mulitplier with HT 18nm

2. 250 Mbps Internet connection up & down sustained bandwidth day or night regardless of network traffic

3. 512GB SSD Sequential Access Read 855MB/sec 765MB/sec Sequential Access - Write 540MB/sec 540MB/sec

4. Dead silent case with a constant internal temp of 10 degrees Celsius regardless of installed equipment and room temp

I'll take the first pick and choose #2

How I see it most of what I do is online so if my intent connection is slow or constantly buffering the entire computer experience feels slow.

I would go for the internet.

Mine is 128kb/s. =P
My dial-up is twice as fast as my broadband!!!

I would go with the 16-core cpu as that is at least something special, quite frankly 250 mb/s is unimpressive to me. It is doable right now but its simply not worth the money for companies, now jumping from 32nm to 18nm is something impressive. I mean honestly, google is providing 1gb/s to certain cities so its just a matter of time before more people have it. Being in a big university and research city I shouldn't have to wait too long I hope.
