I don't know, but the good thing is you have 13 blades, er 12 now so the weight is dispersed pretty evenly reducing the amount out of balance.

i dont even understand how this was balanced in the first place. lmao

what they said on chat "With the information you provided, we are unable to tell if the damage is done in transit. We will check with the dedicated team about this and see if the claim can be processed as normal."

i then told them what MSI said to me

"also, i talked to MSI and got to tier 2 support and a manager and they said that UPS might have cracked the Underside of the fan blade or even the whole fan when they dented the box and that the blade did not come off until i started playing a video game which well makes the fan spin faster right?"
(lol i sent the MSI manager pictures of the dented box)
"I show one of our agents has send a request to our claim department to honor the claim. We have not receive any feedback at the moment. Unfortunately, I am not able to promise you anything."
"I will keep an eye on this case and get back to you via email once there is a feedback."

btw heres the box dented
this is how it came to me w/ 6950/i5 2500k/ram and 212+ inside

I didn't see where you stated how long you have had the card. I would go to newegg and log in, go to the page where your card is and write a review noting the free willy fan option you didn't expect. Be direct, not *****y, I know MSI looks over these for negative posts, you may see a reply from msi

Hi. In this case, perhaps your best bet would be to contact MSIAlex. He is our local OCN rep for MSI. Maybe he could help you out.

they won't give me a regular return, i already tried for an rma and they said no when i called. They said they will file a claim with UPS and i may get a refund AND be able to keep the card, Or that i may have to give UPS the card as if the claim is approved it is then UPS'S property.

Thank you for holding. Unfortunaltey, I just got the feedback from our claim department that the claim will be cancelled we are unable to honor the claim. Due to the inconvenience, we are willing to offer you a $25 credit; the credit will be processed back to your source of payment.

9:04:51 PM : \\ Does this sound an adequate solution to you?

the hell?

time to *****, ill take them to bbb or small claims if i have to. -_-

BTW SPCT i am the only negative review on the 6950 frozr III out of like 12, i am the one who gave it 2 eggs.

I'm going to have to agree with the above posts, it sounds like UPS is at fault, though the newegg I know wouldn't leave you without a working card because of shipping damage, a lot of people are getting damaged Fractal R3s and newegg is replacing them without making the customers wait on UPS claims. I think you should try newegg support again, you proboly just caught someone in a bad mood, they let me return an open motherboard past the 30 day return period and waved the restocking fee.

**EDIT: Every time I've gone through manufacter RMAs its over a month turn around(I havn't dealt with MSI though, they may be better), every time I've gone through newegg its always been about a week.
