New Case Problem

Thread Starter
Hey all,
My friend recently bought this case for his PC build.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Gigabyte-Mid-Tow...item519871c70e
He also got a mobo that came with the motherboard standoff brackets.
The problem is, when he screws the standoffs in, they just keep going and won't tighten. The problem I assume is that the screw holes in the case are slightly too large, anyway, this is keeping him from screwing in his mobo and essentially could ruin the whole build.
If anyone could suggest on how I could fix this problem, that would be great.

didnt the case come with the stand offs? not the mobo? he could try and buy a pack of stand offs i got some from ebay, luckily all threads where the same so fitted, i assumed it was standard sizes, if that doesnt work maybe glue them in jsut make sure they are in straight, (glue stand offs in not screws or am i not understanding the problem)

Go to Hope Depot and look for threadlocker (e.g. Loctite).

eeek. quick easy slove, drop by the local micro center and invest in a half way decent case!! A case worth using can be had for 50 or less. I supprised at that this is the only problem for such a cheap case!! If getting a decent case is out of the question, use thread locker as suggested above. But I would take a long hard look at Newegg.com or microcenter for a slightly better case. You only get what you pay for these days
