2600k @ 4.8 Ghz @ 1.355 vcore

Thread Starter
Hi there!

This is my third post already and i keep asking about this great piece of work: 2600k

I have currently my 2600k running at 4,8 Ghz with the following settings:

- vcore 1.355
- LLC 75% Suitable for 4,8Ghz to 5,2Ghz
- PLL Enabled
- VCCIO Voltage 1.0 Manually
- VCCSA Voltage 0.9 Manually

So right now my temps are:
idle: 40c~
load: 75c~

My question is, can i live ok 24/7 for the next 5 years with those temps on my cpu? or is it going to be a nice souvenir for my children on the following hours?

Many Thanks!

Yeah i know 90c~ > is highly dangerous for the procesor... but with my current temps that means is going to be ok for a long time? or is it better to lower a bit the vcore and speed so i can get less temp

You should be able to pull off 4.5-4.6GHz even with a worse chip with 1.35v.

OP:
75*C with 1.35v is quite high. It's not dangerous by any means, but I load at 73*C with 1.45v on a high leakage chip (meaning it runs hotter than most)....and I'm on air.

I was going to say the same thing. What are your ambient temps? How do you have the fans on your H70 setup?

I'm at 1.385 and at load I hardly ever go over 65C with my office temps around 23C.

ah crap i just get tons of BSOD with code 0x101 running at 4,8 i incremented my vcore up to 1,37! and still the BSOD code 0x101!!!! arrrrrrrrrrrrggggg!!!!! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE!!!!

i had to go back to 4,5 stable.... ;( really sad

And yes, i know my cpu is running hot even with the H70 and i don't know why... i change the thermal compound for a new one Artic Sylver and that drops the temp a lot!!!! but still is kind of high...

My ambient temp is like 30-32... thats because we are on hot days right now... normally they are around 24

Any help with that BSOD?? please!!!!!
