I bought this gaming mouse for $15, works fine and seems solid

But I really messed up, I use the claw grip, my elbow is about 5 inches above the surface, and I like a very light weight mouse.

This thing is a lot heavier, and due to the slopes on it, its very hard to claw grip, especially when holding down the RMB and moving the mouse

Theres not much of a local PC market here, and it would cost close to $15 just to ship it back probably.

So I guess I take it apart, and see if a can cut it up in some way, and use some tape...

Anyone mod the shape of their mouse before???

EDIT: Well I cut about a square inch out of the side where my 3rd finger goes, now my finger rests on a ferrite coil, so its comfortable, and mostly solved the grip problem

As for the other side, the two side buttons have their plastic springs there, but if I can shave down the plastic even a bit, it would help.

On a design note, it doesn't move over blanket like old mouse, because it doesn't have smooth beveled edges....I have to try and fix that too, or use a book surface
