*Updated* LG E2770V-BF Review thread! *PICS* - Page 21

I guess on the bright side it seems most people agree that if it is in fact a TN panel it is the best they have seen, for a 27 inch monitor i think the price is justifiable imo. wink.gif it's just the deception feeling on LG's part that's absurd.

I'd agree on this part. It's far better than the Samsung S27A550H which is retail around $429 (same price range). However, i still can't get over the false advertisement fact. I'm wondering when will Samsung release their S-PLS monitors? or the TA950 true 120Hz?

so it is true then... LG is lying... I'm very dissapointed at LG right now, I never knew they were capable of scamming people.
(I feel bad for anyone by LG)
Good thing I had problems with the online shop or I would have ordered them allready...

Question is however... does this Lg monitor perform just as bad as other TN panels (or maybe slower) or does it outperform them?...
Even then I'm very scared of lag in games.
I don't want to have to turn on an option every time I start a game...

Anyhow I want to thank you for bringing forth proof instead of insults like on hardforum.
(this basicly means that people with a budget like myself won't be able to buy a descent monitor :'( )

So it is a TN panel, with better than average color fidelity, and interpolated 120Hz. The price makes perfect sense in that case. IDK why this is targeted at gamers though... it seems more like a standard LCDTV.

Yeah, thanks for taking so much time to review it OCNewb. Hopefully no one else gets taken for a ride.

Yep. He shouldn't feel bad about it, if it IS a TN panel, then he has helped expose a fraud. You've done the community a favor OCNewb.

This monitor isn't an IPS but it'd be the best TN monitor i've ever used. The color and everything are very good imo. It's much better than the Samsung S27A550 that i sold to a local.
I've used this monitor to play COD,Rift,Wow, some Crysis 2, Magicka and i didn't notice any ghosting or lag but it might be my own personal preference.

It is the human factor. Someone has made a BIG misstake. To advertise something as IPS when its TN is simply foolish from a business perspective.

I just checked my service menu and it is LM270WF2.

advertises it as an IPS panel too.

because they all bought it, now they have to get rid of it
