Looking to upgrade my rig soon. Looking for some opinions in the GPU department. Thinking I could get +/- $425ish for my 5970 which could either get me a gtx 580 that I could SLI down the road or I could save some money, sell the card then get a 6990, or 2 580s even.

Only running one monitor right now and I know any of those cards are overkill for that but I will be going for a triple display setup soon.

The best and most bang for buck option is #2; save some moolah--sell 5970--buy 6990
