This thread http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...ing-guide.html will help you with the "How To" basic's. Take some time and study it. It gives you a lot of very good info and a good path to follow. It will also give you time to learn your bios.
Learn just one area at a time. With an Asus mobo you'll want to monitor temps and voltage using PC Probe from Asus site.

Max loaded Vcore is 1.55v and max CPU Socket temp should not exceed 55c. Manually enter the Dram timings and voltage.
Make small increases to one area at a time and test.
Stress test with prime95 as you make increases, 20 minuets when just starting out, as a quick check for stability and after that the more you increase the longer the test should be. When you reach your goal most consider 12-24 hrs of prime95 to ensure stability. If it's not stable you stand to corrupt the OS in time with possible data lose due to corruption.

If you'd like more help feel free to PM me as I do have a PH II x2 555 BE running at 4013MHz with the NB Freq at 2800MHz in my backup rig and I'm always happy to help those that ask for it.
