Still too small... I already have it. It's a great pad, but it doesn't work that well with the Xai.

Too small.

.. I am getting the HeatoN soon. Just deciding on whether I should go pick it up in person or if I should have it shipped to my house. It's Easter so I have plenty of time.

Because there is no other mouse that offers what I need - high malfunction speed, more than 5 buttons and MSIE 3.0-like shape.
The sensor is very good. Just not on cloth. Even in the case that I used my old DA I wouldn't be using it on my QCK Heavy since it's too thick, so I'd have to get a new mousepad anyway.

It might be worth waiting to see what this new Steelseries mouse is. It looks like a Xai from the preview picture and it's likely that they will use a decent optical sensor this time around instead of a slightly faulty laser one.

Yup, I am stoked as well. It's kind of a low priority though, since it's just a sensor upgrade. I like stockpiling on mousepads anyway :3

That is what I am hoping that it is as well. I hope that it has the side buttons too and they can be held down and still count like a keyboard press, unlike the Xai.

razer have the goliath us... the us stands for the ultimate size. but it is cloth.....

razer do however have a hard mat the same size as that but it costs 3 times more... i was doing my home work when i got my goliathus control edition...

i will try and find out what it is and post it here for you... basicly it has 2 sides... speed and control.... (that is not going to work as the side that is facing the surface is going to wear from the friction of your hand and wrist that sildes on it and all) but it was built for the high dpi mice they have as anything over 3000 dpi just does not work with the cloth mats. but it was hard and not to thick....

or they also have the sticker type pad a supper thin pice of hard plastic and goes on the desk and you get 2 sizes.... medium and large... again i will look for you and post links.
