BSOD launching games!

Thread Starter
Hi, I just recently installed a new GTX 580 and some new RAM in my system, (this is the ram: http://www.corsair.com/memory/vengea...m3a1600c9.html ) and it was playing games fine until just an hour ago when i try to play any games i get a BSOD saying:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I don't know what this means, I heard it might have something to do with RAM, but I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

That could be many things to be honest. Most of the time it will also list files that are associated with the error. Did you make sure to clean out all your old video drivers? You can use driver sweeper to do this in safe mode. Also if you would could you attach the most recent file in your c:/windows/minidump folder.

Since it loads up Windows perfectly fine I don't think it could be a RAM issue..

Install Driver Sweeper, boot up in safe mode and remove all (yeah, all, just for narrowing down the problem) the video drivers on your system. Then boot up as usual and reinstall the latest drivers for your card.

Remember to download the driver install file before you uninstall the old ones for ease :-)
