Brand new Noctua NH-U12P SE2

Thread Starter
Hey guys, as the title suggests I just got a new CPU cooler. A gift, infact. When I got it, I was pretty excited. Before i got this I was thinking about OC'ing my 760 to about 3ghz on the stock cooler, not much but just to say I have 3 rather than 2.8 lol. Anyway, now I'm definitely more determined to go a lot higher! My dad has reached a stable 4.4ghz on his 2500k (I think he has the same cooler) and I was hoping I could get atleast 3.5 on my chip, but to be honest I have no idea when it comes to CPU coolers. I've never even thought of getting one because OC'ing was never one of my highest priorities. So what I'm asking is, how far could I go with this cooler, and if you own one of these could you give me any pointers or tips, or tell me what your experience with them has been like? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts! Anyway I'll get round to installing it tomorrow it's getting late here

Its a Noctua unit, so its bound to be high quality !

Depending on your vCore, I'd say you could go to about 3.8 (or maybe more) on that cooler. Its a pretty good performance unit.
