Need for speed shift 2 keyboard settings.

Thread Starter
Hey guys! I need help for Need for speed Shift 2 unleashed.

Recently, I tested the game and I realised that the steering have some issue.

I tried to control the car but it can't drive straight. I have to maintain it by tapping the arrow keys but to my surprise, the car loosed control and crashed. I believed that the settings of the game have some minor issue.

I need a best settings for the game and I am very glad if someone comes and solve the issue.

Even though I'd been playing many racing games in my life, Need for speed shift 2 unleashed is by far the most challenging game I ever played.

I'm not sure of the best keyboard settings, as I use a gamepad for PC racing games, and I could never get anything that let the driving feel 'right' in any sense. It always had the issue that often if you make a minor adjustment you violently swerve on the track, making it very hard to be precise with the game.

Adjusting the deadzone and sensitivity of the steering alleviated it a bit (deadzone higher, sensitivity lower), but it also made it feel worse in other areas.

The final solution I settled on was in fact a mouse sequence.

Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features>(scroll down to Shift 2)>click Uninstall

That seemed to work for me, I didn't get frustrated anymore with the poor control system the game featured, and went back to playing Forza 3 on the Xbox

you need to turn the deadzone up, and steering sensetivity down.

It happens on Grid for me when I use the Xbo controller, but find the steering controls and options, it should help to spend 10-15 mins perfecting it.

I finished GRID on ninja difficulty (unlock able when u finish it 1st time), using keyboard config the settings as said above. Now dirt 2 and NFS shift 2 i use an xbox controller and i never looked back. Its more accurate and allows me to change gears faster...much more responsive.
