funny, though, because we still don't have very good pics of Pluto, at least 'till New Horizons reaches it...
It is called "New Horizons?" Woh, that immediately made me think of the most entertaining Sci Fi horror movie I have ever seen! Anyways, how on earth were they able to get enough data about Pluto to make such a deduction?

If I remember correctly, the best "picture" they could get of Pluto was from a non Hubble telescope, which gave us a few pixel resolution picture of Pluto.

Ah there we go. Apparently there is a Hubble based picture of Pluto, though barely enough to actually see the planet. I think it is due to how Hubble is designed for seeing things very very much farther than Pluto, so it cannot focus on something as close as Pluto?

So now we know that if we land on pluto and take off our suits, we'll die of suffocation rather then because of a vacuum.
