Crysis 2 has much better graphics than the original IMO, but the SP was incredibly boring to play.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the game play. The ability to "carve your own path" whether it be chaos in a vehicle or stealthy tactics is a lot of fun.

I will admit I enjoy having more suit "modes". MAXIMUM STRENGTH!

In my opinion they should have taken the "Cry engine and made a totally different game out of Crysis 2", while I still am not yet "up" on the full story line of the original, C2 feels more like Half-life 2.
They incorporated speed and strength mode. Armor+Stealth modes are much better now. You can fire several times with silencer and stay cloaked. Your armor actually takes much more damage, Crysis armor was ridiculous in comparison. Speed is there just a bit slower but I was told it was due to POV. As for strength, if you use iron sights, it'll use strength to steady. You can still jump high using the space bar as I recall and still throw things far because it gets used automatically as well.
Basically, you can use up to 3 modes all at once in Crysis 2 while you were limited to only 1 in Crysis which I think is a much better idea Crysis 2's story also seems more thought out in comparison to Crysis which was too simple and generic. Crysis 2's sound was also much superior to Crysis sound IMO. Either way, I still love both for different reasons

If you get the cloak upgrade and fast nanosuit recharge you can seriously cloak through the whole game and sneak up behind dudes and stab them in the neck the whole time. I thought it was a blast doing that!

There is Strength mode in Crysis 2 but it's in online mode from the very beginning. Why? Because Alcatraz is a dead man walking, he has many broken bones and rips, and also something is wrong with his heart I don't remember exactly. That's why suit turned om in to Strength mode to keep him alive. Please play whole game, then post stupid posts.

ya i know what u r sayin...so finally now u r getting my and most of the gamers point who played c1 and felt c2 is not up to the mark or rather unimpressive.......

It's definitely a great game by itself, but it, in my opinion, doesn't live up to Crysis one bit. I've noticed that people who were a lot into the original Crysis tend to dislike Crysis 2, probably because they changed the perfectly good suit functions and just the in general use of old technology.

I started playing Crysis 2's single player, and after about 15 minutes I closed it and never opened it again. This is the same thing I did with almost every other game I own. The only campaigns that I have finished and thoroughly enjoyed are (ranked from least to greatest):

Crysis (hardest difficulty)
Modern Warfare (only because of the difficulty, on hardest it gave me a very good challenge)
Modern Warfare 2 (hardest difficulty)
Portal
Portal 2

The games that either have a gripping dialogue/storyline/gameplay are the ones that hold my attention.

Crysis had the different suit modes, beautiful graphics, and very sandbox gameplay.

Modern Warfare had a very cliche storyline/dialogue, but the difficulty made it exciting for me to play.

Same with MW2, the ending made me really want to kill the enemy, and it made me feel proud when I had done it.

Portal just had some amazing dialogue that made me want to keep playing to see what would happen. In addition, the unique gameplay made it very interesting and fun to play.

Same for Portal 2, I stayed up late playing just to see what would happen next, and there wasn't too much changed gameplay-wise so that it still felt like Portal, but was still new and exciting to play.

I will not tolerate boring games, I just stop playing them.
