A lot of new Sandybridge notebooks are coming out without 3.0 for some reason. Some have it, some don't, many have expresscard slots if you want to add it (though somewhat clumsily). Not a really big deal unless you'll be transferring a lot of stuff onto an external hdd.

True but it's a bit more difficult to fit into a messenger bag.

I ordered This laptop about 3 weeks ago and it is coming in the mail today biggrin.gif USB 3.0 is significantly much faster except there aren't many drives for it yet tongue.gif

also Apple is using a technology called thunderbolt instead of USB 3
as for your star craft question.. IDK I'd have to ask my buddy that owns a macbook pro about that.

You're planning on spending money on an Apple notebook because it looks nice...

Officially you are one of those cases that buys for no reason other than to show off the fact that you got an Apple computer. Congrats.

Mind you, Apple machines can't run most games for crap. If you want to game, get the M14x or a Sager machine. Personally, the stock config for the M14x looks perfect.

Mac sucks monkey balls.. FYI lol..

I've got a dell studio 1747 that games quite nicely with an ATI hd 4650 graphics card.

Not brand spanking new but runs very strong.

i have a desktop for gaming already. i just needed one for work. since i work for my dad he was asking what computer do i want. i was asking for a apple laptop but i guess we just went with an iMAC instead since it was alot cheaper than the macbook pro.

i hate everything about it beside the screen. haha the screen is so sexy.

Get the top tier 15" macbook pro or 17". The 6750 is a must if you plan to game, it's actually quite powerful.
