ok so i downloaded some file from guru3d and was wondering is it as simple as running the batch file to do it.

cause theres this big disclaimer about melting your card that worries me

came with 3 files a batch file to flash 6950 to 6970 a batch to revert to 6950 and a outated gpu-z

should i run this or is their another way

I used the bat file from tpu. It may be the same. worked perfectly for my msi card. My asus card couldn't handle the mem clocks. Google tpu 6950 unlock.

Try it. Be sure to have the bios switch @ 1. If it doesn't work, flash at back and try unlocking.

Be sure to monitor temps and keep the fan up. The voltages are higher.

download this

run the batch file as admin
reboot
run gpu z and check shader count
play some games and see if it's stable

If it won't boot after flashing, switch to bios 2, boot up, switch it back to bios 1, and flash it back.

Don't flash the backup bios.

Good luck. 95% or more of these cards unlock no problem. If it unlocks with errors, it's no big deal.

Definitely. That unlock and oc will give you a nice 15% boost in gpu bound games.
