Wow, that's quite a lot for a 14" laptop. I was expecting it to be in the neighborhood of the high 4lbs or low 5lbs.

My 16" laptop weighs less than a pound more. :|

Now if only I could get the option for a GT 555M on the Sager...

If you have the option to get a GTX 460M it's a better card than the GT 555M.

HPs newest DV6t and DV7t both have the option for the 6770m which I believe is slightly better than the 555.

A 14" chassis is not gonna handle such a powerful and hot chip without problems, unless they make it very thick.

Also, I'd wager that the M14X would feel heavier to carry than my current laptop because it distributes its weight on a much smaller area.

Sager doesn't have a 14" chassis right now.

Who was talking about Sager? I was replying in context of the M14X. A GTX 460M is a horrible idea for ANY 14" chassis.

Sagers don't have 14" chassis and the GTX 460M is better than the GT 555M.

I wasn't talking about Sagers. Go take some reading comprehension classes. The M14X is a laptop by Alienware. The Sager in question is the NP5160, a 15.6" laptop. If you actually cared to read instead of wasting your first posts to troll you'd know this. I never mentioned Sager having 14" laptops.

I said that 15.6" is better for all-around balance when it comes to performance/chassis ratio. And the GTX 460M may be faster, but it loves to suck power and can only be used in large chassis without problems. The 555M still allows to play games in High with AA plus it emits a lot less heat.

Be gone, troll.
