If that's too much CM690ADII and CM hypere 212+ are going to be the best bets. Stay away from hybrid water coolers like the H50/60/70 or anteck's line. They cost to much for the performance you get, Air coolers beat them out nowdays.

I use the CM690IIAD and sliver arrow and am so pleased it not funny:0 love the case and cooler.
I'm an arse...Silver arrow is out of your price rance.

I still say CM690II is a pretty perfect case. Mostly I dont recomend the hybrid water coolers becouse the god arrow and jesus 14 beat them, but in your case a h50 might be a good thing. scyth mugen 2 is also a nice performer. Archon is a great performance, alot cheaper than silver arrow and has similar performance.

Meh, according to this; http://www.nzxt.com/forum/showthread...ncompatibility

The H50 is not compatible with the Phantom without modification it seems. If I decide to go for the Scythe Mugen 2, it's the "Rev B" I want, right? Still kinda expensive, have heard it compared to the Hyper Plus but here it's like twice the price that the 212 Hyper Plus was supposed to have before inflation, essentially around 80$. Barely cheaper than the H50.

Anyhow, regarding the Raven 02; how does the odd setup (twist I guess) affect CPU coolers? Have heard that normal air coolers require more air, so a positive side to the "self-contained liquid CPU coolers" is that they're less demanding of other fans in the case, but the Raven 02 seems to have some of the best cooling in the business. Is the H50 still a valid option for that case? Also, wondering about the Raven 03; it's quite different from the 02, right? It doesn't seem to have the same flipped design/twist (sorry English isn't my first language), but do they both come with these "air penetrator" fans I've heard so much fuzz about?

Yup, "Rev. B" is what you want, but if H50 is almost same price I'd go with that, if your case will allow it. It's slightly cooler under load and makes less noise. As a third option, take a look at Coolink Curator. If you can get it for same price as Mugen, definitely go with that.

RV02 and RV03 have 90 degree rotated design and both come with Air Penetrator fans, albeit RV02-E comes with 3 instead of 2 fans.

Only four Coolink products seem to be available in my country, and the Curator is unfortunately not among them.

A closer look at the NZXT support forums revealed that later productions of the Phantom has fixed the H50/60/70 incompatability problem, and hopefully I will get a newer model rather than some old if I order it. I'm fairly certain that I will be ordering later today or tomorrow, and at this point I think I will go for a Phantom/H50 combo. Thanks for all the replies, been a great help.

Ofcourse more opinions or suggestions are still welcome though.

EDIT: Hm never mind, decided to wait around two weeks for the Corsair 650D instead, so not ordering yet. The reason is that I just heard that the 650D has superior air cooling to the 700/800D, and that it is essentially an Obsidian (i.e possibly the best looking case I've seen with some possible contenders being high-end/outdated Lian Li cases and a Silverstone case I saw at this "extremely-pricy-custom-pc" site once, think it might've been a modded TJ07) version of the 600T, which would have been an alternative to the Phantom if I liked its looks. Sounds like the 650D lacks the (in my case) weaknesses of the 700/800D; lackluster air cooling and premium price.

Won't make a real build log I think, but I'll update this post with some pics once I get it. Thanks for all the advice and help.
