How safe is your gadget? Is it drop-out-of-your-pocket-while-getting-out-of-your-car-during-a-rainstorm safe? Scary but yes, it happens. ZAGGsafe gives you peace of mind as a gadget owner, as now you can have a warranty that will truly cover what you fear most: broken screens and water damage. With a low deductible you can have what other warranties don't offer, total coverage.

I only quickly scanned everything, but this seems good!
Best Buy came close to charging me $150 for a 2 year extended warranty on my iPhone and I'd bet additional money that it didn't cover water damage or jailbroken phone.
This nets you 2 years for only $100.

Seems kind of pointless. You're paying $100 for 2 years and still have to pay $40 to get another one as a deductible. Also, considering the manufacturer warranty (which doesn't cover water damage..not sure about cracked screen) lasts for 1 year and the average person upgrades to a new phone every year.

I dunno, sounds like it's just easier to never drop your phone or spill water on it.

False. Verizon just got rid of 1-year contracts and most people have their phones for 2+ years.

Other than myself, majority of the people I know get a new phone every year for various reasons and stuff. Besides, if you look at the turn around in just the iphone development and the number of "trendy" people that get a new one everytime they release one, that should tell you all you need to know. Besides, most cell phone providers will now let you get a new phone every year or so just to keep you under contract.

Well..unfortunately, without credible statistics for either one of us, it's just an opinion. However, where I live, it's clearly visible that a good portion go through 1 phone per year sometimes 1.5 years but it's definitely not at the 2+ year mark. Also, keep in mind that most cell phone companies want you to stay under contract and the closer it comes to it being over, the more they want you to upgrade just to keep you under contract.
