yea, i tend to, do that, alot, i cant really, help it, i know i have a run on sentence issue however, i dont understand, what the ram v, which is 1.65 has to do with the NB and CPU V, as my cpu v is capped at 1.55, and the ram is clearly higher, i just want to get a stable oc, and not have to worry about anything, i dont want to oc my ram, as i see know real point to it.

set the ram manually in the bios. it sometimes defaults to 1333mhz and different voltages. just set it to 1600mhz, 1.65v vDIMM and the first four timings to 9-9-9-27.

there are no set specifications to max ram voltages. it is designed to run at 1.65v. you can go a bit over (i have mine at 1.68v) but not too much.

ok, well, i set my ram speed to 1600, and my v to 1.65, however, on this mobo, there is way more options to setting timings than i am normally used to, although my ram seems to be pretty stable, as ive run my comp for a few days, with prime 95, and with out any cpu oc, its 100% good
i just want to get a good cpu, nb oc

if u are fimailar with the bios for my board, what timings to i set to nine? and then the fourth to 27?

You just keep changing the timings lower and lower by 1 value.
Mine was 9,9,9,24,1T Now it's at 8,8,8,15,2T You basically change one value if it boots then it worked if it didn't then the Timing failed or needs more voltage.

Ok.
Set Ai overcolck tuner to Manual.
Set CPU to x20.
Set CPU/NB Frequency to x10 or 3000.
Procosser voltage to 1.45v.
CPU/NB voltage to 1.375v.
If it is not stable bump the procosser voltage up a notch or two.
If it is stable start lowing the voltage on procosser then CPU/NB until it is unstable then bump it back to the voltage that was stable. Try to keep it under 58c max.

under the ai tweaker menu you go to dram timing config and then enter the first 4 (cl 9 - trcd 9 - trp 9 - tras 27) into the first four options. you don't need to mess with any other timings.

where do i set my dram v
and how the heck on this (currently in my eyes pos) mobo do i set my timings for my ram, i dont udnerstand why they made it look compleatly different then the two previous asus mobos i have owned.

press enter and the list of vlaues will come up. or use your +/- keys
vdimm is in the ai tweaker menu below cpu-nb voltage i think. use +/- as well (that's what i use at least)

i updated mine when i first got it (v.3060) but you shouldn't really update unless you are having problems (e.g. some unlocked processors needed bios updates to resolve instability, etc.)

don't do both at the same time. start with the cpu only. doing more than change just adds more time to diagnose the problem. if the oc failed, it needs more voltage (a good amount more probably).
