Problem with Sony Vegas

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

im in a little bit of a pickle! I need to edit a movie clip for a school project but Sony Vegas does not accept the video file for some reason.

Whenever i drag and drop the file onto Vegas i get an error saying that "None of the files dropped on to Vegas Pro could be opened."

The format of the video is .avi

Ive read some stuff that Vegas doesn't support .avi formats but im pretty sure it has in the past for me. I can't figure out why it wont accept the file.

Anyone have any ideas as to why?

The problem has to do with the audio AVI's use.

Try downloading this codec pack and restarting vegas
