well your trying to disprove him ... while him trying to disprove your claims about you working inside the industry .. but yet you come back with a wise man line ... really your working inside the silicon industry???

shouldnt you be explaining to us in a scientific matter on how it would be possible or not to do what he claimed ...

shouldnt you be explaining to us in a scientific matter on how it would be possible or not to do what he claimed ...

in order for me to disprove anything, he first had to proof it
which he can't since he is basing his claim on a wild guess (or a theory he read somewhere)

and to be honest, I can't proof anything that I've said either, and even if I could - I wouldn't, nor do I feel necessary to do so (would you feel necessary to proof anything contrary to each rumor/claim you hear on OCN ?)

so you dont really work in the industry do you???

cant wait till the guy who made those claims can come up with an intel slide on the matter

because im sure ive heard somewhere that intel isnt good at transistors density compared to amd and thats why they are rushing new process node ... to combat that defficit ... throwing money at the problem instead of having more brains fixing it ... but i could be wrong like the guy who made the first assumption too .. who knows

Well, since you're so interested in power consumption, and willing to trade perf. for power usage, why isn't it clocked at 2.2ghz? Or even 1.8ghz? Bet you could get those volts waay down if you were really interested in it.

Say.. what speed is your RAM running, if you've got it stock clocked? Isn't it limited to 1066, or is it 1333?

Oh, and might wanna update the sig rig.

So Intel may eventually get sold off?
The chinese chip can run at over 100+ GFLOPS,with only a <1Ghz clock.
Who cares, put Linux on it and fold with it.

Sandy Bridge-E/Ivy Bridge better have more pcie lanes than what we're getting w/ p67/z68. I will not pay more again for a NF200 chip!
