hello guys.
soon getting my new computer and all that, i get it with the nzxt phantom.
now i want to ask some question about fans and intake and exhaust.
my from fan will be:
front(intake): LIAN-LI Cooler 140mm Blue Led 1200rpm
2x side(intake): Zalman F3 120MM Case Fan Blue Led
1 big (200mm) side(intake): nzxt 1300rpm.
2 top(exhaust): nzxt 1300rpm.
1 rear(exhaust): Scythe 120mm Gentle Typhoon JAPAN Servo 3000rpm
my cooling is: nucato NH d14, and its pumping air from the case, with the read fan out side.
i ain't from u.s, so sorry if i have spelling mistakes.
so what you say, any changes or improving?
thnx =)!

I would never pay money for a Lian Li fan.

There are some excellent 140mm fans. Check out item 4 of my sig.

Also check out item 2: cut out your rear grill to free up that D14.

Also check out item 1 for 120mm fan comparisons.

thanks, you helpmed me about the oil think, regular i used W40. and about the air flow.
but i defently wont cut my fan grill of.
so i wont buy the lina li 140mm now. i think ill just buy: Scythe 140mm SLIP STREAM 1200rpm. the most expansive i could find.
so i thought of this air flow:
1 front Scythe 140mm SLIP STREAM 1200rpm intake.
2 120mm side: out in take.
1 big side 200mm(if i figure how to put it, with the nucato) in take
2 top 200mm: out take.
1 rear 120mm out take
and the nucato is pushing air out.
what you say?

To tell you the truth, your going to have to test it Its realy hard to gauge how a system is going to do temp wise. How I would set up your fan's for the first run depends on witch direction you mount your D-14. If your going to mount it the standerd way(front to back) I would

front/bottom intake
Intake on the side pannel(the 200mm fan may not even do anything good for temps not shure)
for the fans on the top pannel, I would block off the rear most top vent(can use cardboard and tape), and use the front most top vent as an intake, along with a rear exhaust.

After reading up on here I made an attempt at this fan set up with a bunch of miss matched fans and it was totaly worth it, your spiffy cooler get's all kinds of fresh air from the top intake.

If your going to mount it so the it point up then how you posted will be a fine start. dont be scared to change them around some and play with it
