How to make a motherborad that cannot do sli do sli

Thread Starter
if you guys did not understand the title i just want to know how to make a motherboard that does not have the ability do to do sli to be able to do it.
So i have a motherboard that i want to make it do sli but i dont know how, and their are no articles that explain on how to do so. I was also wondering is sli a hardware specific thing that they add to the motherboard or can i some how add it via software/BIOS flashing.
One more thing my motherborad is supermicro c2sea and cpu is a quad core sorry don't know what type of quad but i believe its sorta in the middle of all the other ones.

Thanks a lot for your help

If a mobo isn't sli capable there is nothing you can do to change that.

There is a thread on the topic, try giving that a read though.

Also (i know this is kind of obvious but the "middle one" quad core comment makes me wonder), your motherboard has to have two pci-e ports for that to work.
