edit: Also, i kind of want to switch to mushkin 4gb cas 7 that i see you have as well. Is there a noticeable difference between cas 9 and 7?
All of those PSU calculators are wrong... Newegg specifically loves to add on way too much just so they can sell more powerful units for no reason. Also the 4gb mushkin cas 7 sets are very nice. I'm not sure which ones specifically you are looking at but i have a set that are 7-9-7-24 and they work great for me (and they look cool, lol)

This is the set that I have:

TBH you really won't notice a difference. The biggest difference for me was when overclocking. I originally had 8gbs of Kingston ValueRAM 1333 9-9-9-28 and they definitely held back my overclock. I just did a complete re-overclock of my system yesterday and as you can see in my sig I got my i5 to 4.01 with only 1.216v. I know having all 4 DIMMs filled hurt me a lot but I was at about 1.34v with them. Other than that the only time that you will notice any sort of difference is in benchmarks like superpi. You may also see a jump in ~1fps but that's about it, lol.

Btw i have the HDD cage removed in my 912 because I only have one hard drive. Removing it helps the airflow too. It is a very nice case overall
