I mean come on, who would play a PS3 or XBox with out surround sound? That's just blasphemy.
I think people are forgetting a PC needs a display and speakers aswell.
By the way you can use also use monitors with modern consoles via HDMI.
Console gaming doesn't have to be expensive. It's pretty funny that people think it does. Most people already own a TV, and can play a console right out of the box.
Also why would you throw in surround sound as a neccessity for console gaming and not for PC gaming? Stick to the neccessities and not the preferences.

The price will be made up very quickly.
Also, I'm not even considering used games because all used games do is screw the developers...and that's also the reason I'm not considering pirating PC games.
I don't buy used games and I don't pirate games, I give my money to the people who deserve it, the developers who made the games.
If a used game is cheaper, I'll buy it. Whether on PC or console. What's more important to me is the money that goes into my wallet, not the money that goes into someone elses.Edited by Lifeshield - 4/25/11 at 9:58am
