Why play games on PC over outdated proprietary PC, without ability to upgrade and limited input options (otherwise known as a crapsole)

The answer to this topic is so obivious I'm sure why any one would willingly choose to read 21 pages of posts about it.

So at this point I'd like to take this time to ram a little....

It's not a real photo (I'm assuming you think this is a real person here, correct me if I'm wrong). The video, that picture was taken from, is below, it's at around the last minute.

You thinking it's a real photo is actually testament to the quality I guess, lol. You can find a link to the original (real life) casting, with the original (real life) actress, there aswell.

I'm more of a PC gamer (even though I love the N64) but from time to time I like to play on my friend's xbox just so that I can feel somewhat "refreshed" on PC gaming.

To the original question - the answer, for me, is simple:

I am a PC Enthusiast, I built my computer with my hands, chose the parts myself and this gives me much more enjoyment and desire to use my PC. I come home and sit at my desk and start my computer up, hit the forums, check my mail, pay some bills, watch some videos and game.

In addition to:

My PS3 does not do this seemlessly. Anyone who thinks surfing the net on a PS3 is a good experience is kidding themselves - if you are using a keyboard and mouse then you may as well be on a PC. My PS3 will never replace my PC, heck I haven't used it for over 3 months.

How many Playstations and Xboxes just simply die? Craigslist is full of dead consoles that people are trying to get rid of. It's not a system I would have faith in to last.

Graphics are not a big reason for me, I still play lots of old games. I played my PS2 way more than the PS3. There are very few games on the PS3 that I would bother getting and many I would have, came out for the PC so I bought those instead.

Why does the lip syncing look so awful :/

I almost thought she was going to start talking in japanese for a bit while subtitles just come onto the screen or something.
