http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-latest50-bfbc2-lfb36.html 14,217 bans. 1,266 in the PAST 30 DAYS.

That said, cheaters don't ruin the experience. I get as much fun out of trolling the cheaters as they do trolling the noobs, and you can always find a better (read: admin'd) server to play on.
I haven't met any cheaters in my 600 hours of online FPS gaming (COD4, TF2, BC2 mostly)

Am I lucky or do I just join good servers? Both?

I was on a server recently that displayed everyone it banned for hacking and I know there were many, but most are being caught by PB. I know they're there, but I haven't met anyone that actually dominated a game like an aimbotter on a COD4 server would. What I'm saying is that they're there, but I don't get to play against them 'cause they get removed. As above poster said, I might be lucky, but I really don't meet anyone. And I would know (hopefully) if they're hackers, I'm playing Black Ops (sadly, COD4 has died) competitively, we're currently the best clan in Europe on Clanbase. Or maybe I'm too good to be the judge... In an older clan, I played with a mate and we met a wallhacking clan (on a non-PB server) and we actually won. Played SnD against wallhackers 2v3 (they outnumbered us) IIRC and we won. I've learnt that a lot of hackers try, unsuccessfully, to make up for lack of skills by hacking, so maybe I cut people too much slack. Unless I see proof that people shoot through walls without possibly knowing someone's there, I don't call them hackers.

Either, or you're just not looking.

I'm not talking about cheaters being displayed by the PBBans hub, I'm talking about the blatant aimbotters (as you describe for COD4.) 5, in one week. 2 in the same server, even. Although they were nice enough to get on opposite teams (rofl). Mind you, this hasn't been a normal week.

If you're saying they don't exist you've got your head in the sand. The evidence is there. If they've banned 1266 in the past month, imagine how many more there are getting away with it?

It's hard to get your fellow players to go along with the kill/revive punishment, no matter how much they may whine about the cheater. Although, one guy did get "||||||||"s dog tags. (this http://bfbcs.com/stats_pc/bones2090 was his buddy)

If I gotta actively look out for hackers, they're not being very obvious. And when they're not obviously hackers, how do you know the difference between hacking and skill? You don't.

PC: Mouse + Keyboard beats console controller anyday, the only think keyboards lack is the ability to control how fast you run.....
Better Graphics. PC hardware is now 5 years better than the latest consoles.
PCs load games faster. (yeah the PS3 uses a bluray drive, but it isn't very fast)

Console: Cheaper initial cost.
(need some form of TV screen and home theater setup to enjoy properly, Games tend to cost more for a longer period then the same games for PC)

While it may "hold its own" there are always those craving more power, but that's just my eventual dream rig ...and also how is the psu junk?

He can still do better for the price. Instead of the TX-750, he can get:

- Antec True Power New 750w
- Antec High Current Gamer 750w
- Corsair TX-750 V2

There are other PSUs that are better than old TX-750 model.
