Thread Starter
Hello, my first time OCing my signature rig, Sandy Bridge 2600k on sabertooth p67 and g skills 8gb . I oced to 4.0 with 1.2v(still high and cant boot at 1.19) and cant any further than that. I can't even hit 4.2 with 1.3v. Am I doing something wrong? or is there problem with my mobo or cpu?

No you need more voltage - set it to 1.5v and raise the multiplier, keep raising until you cannot boot into windows, that is your multiplier limit. Begin to lower voltage from there 1 notch at a time until you bsod and then raise it 2 notches. SB are fairly easy to overclock compared to previous generations, not really much you need to worry about, they take more voltage, and can pretty much hit their max with a normal cooler.
