Initial Startup... Not starting up. - Page 2

Sounds like you just don't have the video card properly seated.

It seemed to "suddenly start" when you were messing with the graphics card because it wasn't seated how it should be, then when you bumped it just right, the GPU fan kicked on and it seemed all systems were go. Just get it in there right and it will fire right up.

Edit: Check to make sure the fin on the bottom of the I/O panel on your graphics card is fitting in between the motherboard and your case.

Check all your motherboard standoffs attached to the case and make sure there is a screw properly fastened in each one.

Alright well I re-did all my standoffs and used a screw to hold my GPU in place... And it started! Thanks for the help!

Ugh... So after it finally started... It only stayed on for like 20 minutes... It is now starting up but I THINK the CPU is getting overheated so it is automatically shutting off. I didn't reapply the thermal paste, so that probably didn't help. Looks like I'm taking it apart again! haha.....
