If you're on an extreme budget, and don't mind temps getting a little warm, it's a good case. Though I hate even including it tbh since I'm not a fan of it at all, a top mounted PSU = almost no management possibilities. and only one rear fan is quite disheartening but it holds it's own as a good quiet case :\\
I had the older gen Sonata for my mom until I moved her parts into a P183, both are quiet.
I'f you're an absolute stickler for that $80 price point, the Sonata Proto is your best option imo. However, if you want to do it properly, save for the Fractal R3, honestly, if I had $80 in my pocket atm, I'd save for the R3.
You never want to do something half way then get urged to buy another case that really you could have gotten first. The same thing happened with my on the P183 and the FT01. The FT01 was about $40 more than the P183 and I cheaped out and got the P183. I'm rocking the FT01 now and feel like I should have gotten it from the start. Then again, my mom loves the P183.. so I guess it was ok in the end ^^

While Noiseblockers are excellent fans [have two M12-S2 on my H70, and they are inaudible at about 4 feet
] they're quite expensive and quite frankly [imo] it's best to get a proper case first, but that's up to the OP and what he decides, still a viable option though Edited by Munkypoo7 - 4/21/11 at 8:17am
