Gigabyte EP45T-UD3LR

So I sold my P5Q board because it did not support 533 FSB chips and picked up this gigabyte board. Seems like a nice board and I made sure it worked with an E1200 and everything works great so I pop in a celeron D 356. No POST. Pop in a 352, no post. OK so put the 1200 back in and notice it has the F5 bios, the CPU support page says F2 for the celerons but whatever I update to the latest F10 anyway. Now all the CPU's post, but the celeron's hang on the post screen. It will not enter the bios.

Digging deeper, seems that all my celeron's are D0 steppings and the CPU support page lists C1 steppings supported only. OMG!!! Am I screwed here or is there some way I can get this to work?

Wow I cannot believe this. I changed the ram out and everything is fine....just booted into the bios with the 356.

This makes NO sense at all because I booted into windows fine with the corsair ram on the E1200 with the F5 bios. The F7 bios says it updates ram compatability, what a JOKE!

Anyway, problem solved.
