Who really gives a ****? The other consoles get bad games too. The Nintendo exclusives are worth the price of admission alone, and you have a pc to play the rest of your games on, "duh winning".

3-4 actual good games a year is not worth the price for a console in my opinion. Also, yes, the other consoles have bad games as well, but the margin of good games to bad games (at least those that review well) is much higher than on the Wii. There was actually a study done on this not too long ago.

Also, Charlie Sheen is so played out.

Until Nintendo gets some respectable new IPs, they will still be the Fischer Price Nintendo that they've always been.

Well I guess you can go ahead and sell your PC as well then if it's main function is gaming. It costs 4-5 times what the Wii does and by similar standards produces as many "quality" games as a Nintendo system on a yearly basis.

To each his own, and I'm done arguing with you. I'll just have my cake and eat it too I guess. I never got the memo that I was restricted to owning only 1 means of playing games in my household.

I think the good thing about the screens is that you don't need a TV. I don't like the split screen for multiplayer games since they block out a lot of your view. I hope these controllers are the solution.

Guys, its been said before but needs to be said again. It's not targeted at you. Actually most Wii users don't have a PS3, watercooled PC's, or likely even know what a GPU is.

Nintendo is really doing an upgrade over their current console , that's all. Their core users will be pleased.

Especially if recent news is to be believed that Microsoft and Sony won't have their next consoles out until 2014...gah.
