The Windows 7 Install screen came up with an error this time.. It was stuck at 0% on "Expanding Windows files" for a while.

For how long? It should stay at 0% for 3-5 minutes, and then begin expanding at a reasonable rate.

Okay. I got into the Advanced Bios menu and changed my boot priorities.. I installed windows 7 to my SSD. Then, I installed the windows updates, and it required me to restart. Now I'm back at post #1 where I have a black login screen on my monitor, and no task bar/start menu on my windows desktop.

:/

I guess you could try using the "process of elimination" method and try out a stick of ram, one at a time? Idk just a thought!

I'm continuing to get a black screen for my windows login screen, and no start menu/task bar/desktop icons on my windows install after finishing updates.

Also, when my computer restarts, my bios is changing my disk priority back to 1. Hard-drive 2. CD-ROM on it's own.. even after I saved the settings in Bios and installed windows.
