I agree with this POST, today I ran into some problems exactly like this while refining my overclock_

My CPU/NB Voltage was 1.253volts
NB Frequency at 2800
CPU Core voltage was 1.403volts
4000mhz Overclock on CPU

Ran prime 95 and it would fail every 10 or so minutes on one core, I kept raising the CPU Core voltage_ All the way up to 1.55volts and yet still same problems!! wasn't stable_

Drop my CPU Core Voltage back down_ & raise my CPU/NB Voltage up

CPU/NB Voltage: 1.256Volts
NB Frequency: 2800mhz
CPU Core Voltage: 1.403Volts
4000mhz Overclock on CPU

Completely 8 hours of Prime95 Stable, no problems period =]

The CPU/NB Voltage seem to have an effect on stable overclocks_

Strange thing was that at 1.253volts CPU/NB Voltage and Stock CPU Clocks & Voltage it ran for 8hours Stable with no errors, but once I push the CPU Overclock higher it required a tiny bump in voltage to get it stable.

Good stuff

Same here, Running Prime95, some core's finish there tasks faster than others.... even though they run at the same clock speeds
