Folding on GPU is just as easy as CPU. It's in the v7 quide

Bigadv is a bigger and more difficult WorkUnit. They take longer and may not complete in time on your 2500k

TPF is Time Per Frame. Basically the time per each %

Second of all, what do you mean 'in time'?

Well technically need 8 threads for a bigadv. Some 2500k can do it.

In time means there is a deadline that standford sets for you to complete the workunit. If you don't complete it in time you don't get the bonuses.

Bigadv units take longer but they yield A LOT more points. On an average system you can get 80k for 2 days of folding

So you're saying that on this Q9300 I should not enable bigadv? And what is credit? Where do I view PPD estimates?

No do not do it on the q9300. Credit is the amount of points you recieve when you upload that project (does not include bonus points). The ppd estimates show up right on the v7 screen. that one doesnt have a estimate because Stanford hasnt officially set it's points.

Once a work unit is done it will be sent to stanford. Stanford updates stats ever hour. You can go here to see them. http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/...s&qname=csm725

You can also goto http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ and search for you name on the left side. That site updates every 3 hours.

Credit is what you get after submitting a work unit. Some give 1k points others give 80k.

Your PPD should be on the folding client. PPD is Points per day. I'm not 100% sure if it's on the folding client but it should be

No don't do bigadv on your q9300
