Why do I keep getting a CPU Overtemp shut down? - Page 3

Just a shot in the dark....you did remove the plastic film from the bottom of the cooler before mounting it to the CPU correct?

No no lol, the first pic everything was auto, but in the second one everything was set manually. What I don't get is why when it auto sets my voltage at 1.29, my temps are lower than when I manually set it to 1.26?

I say RMA the chip. I've also heard bad motherboards causing CPU's to overheat but i can't confirm if it's true.
