Key word: may (implying possible side effects)

For me personally, voltage control still works. All I've lost is the ability to monitor the fan RPM.

Did you try any of the workarounds in the first post?

The workaround assumes you are only using Afterburner, since after all, it's just an Afterburner workaround.

There are trade-offs for using workarounds. That's why the best solution is still to blast Evenbalance with reports and get them to fix PB.

And I'm fine not knowing the temp of card 2 since I know it runs cooler than card 1. I am just happy I can monitor GPU usage again! Thanks again!

I'm going to test this now, I was going crazy trying all different things to keep bfbc2 from crashing on me. I had to stop using afterburner to get it to run for more than 15-30mins, obviously not the best solution. If this works I will be

A few months ago my onboard realtek was the cause of constant crashes, I ended up with a sound card to fix that, gah why is this game so addictive

Well, it looks like even after two Punkbuster updates, the core issue still isn't solved.

Looks like we need to hammer Evenbalance/EA MORE.

In the meantime, continue using the workaround
