Nice rig though! A question though, do you have any idea if the ports on all EK blocks (of different models) always line up like they do for yours? Or was it just luck?

Thanks its a proper Tippmann X7, none of that Phenom garbage... thumb.gif

The EK ports i figured were pretty close after i compared some cad drawing from the EK water-block manuals. What i noticed was that in both the FC580 and FC460 manuals they have the same "front" view that was taken in what appears to be Solidworks (CAD software i use at work). so i took jpgs from the PDF manuals, cropped them in Photoshop so the PCB was the same height and noticed that the ports were about 1-2mm offset. I decided it was worth a chance to line em up and sure enough they were pretty close. You can tell in the pics that they are a little off but i'm fine with that for now. I'm just happy to be done my water build after a few months.

Im still rockin the 98 custom redface.gif. Where do you play? Indoors/woods? Also, does the X7 come with a black macro line or did you wrap it in something?

Ah ok, I figured they would be a little different. Just been thinking about adding a physX card with my 6950s, but I would want to watercool that as well, dont think it will happen though... Did i mention i liked your rig? tongue.gif

I pretty much only play outdoor woods-ball unless they take the field indoor because of bad rain... I used to be down at Wasaga Beach in Ontario every weekend, now things have did down a little but the summer is coming soon and i'm sure i'll be grabbing some people to run a few games there.

Regarding your physx card... i mean if you feel you need it go for it, but honestly with the games i play it doesn't make any difference. Unless i'm blind or something Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2, Killing Floor, Portal, Heist, MW2, Half-Life none of these games really require it. Unless i'm wrong someone correct me please but if i were you i'd probably sell my ATI cards when the time is right and get an nVidia card if i really wanted it.

Heh thanks man, i appreciate clean builds, i know mine has a bit of tubing and i could cut back on some but i like it a little over-the-top.

Oh by the way here is a pick of me using a metal bridge for the cards, yeah the offset was close enough for one:
