First of all, it's not a phone. It's an OS. You didn't even recommend a phone.

Secondly....ugh.

My bad. I recommend the HTC HD7S when it comes out.

From the list in 1st post, I'd say the Incredible S or the Nexus S; Both phones are great!

For all of you suggesting the Samsung Galaxy S2, sell me on it. I live in a pretty small place so hearing anything about up and coming phones is pretty much nonexistent unless I search it up myself.

As for waiting a few weeks, I have a small window to do all of this in. Got a friend to agree to take over my iPhone contract which is nearing the end of it's warranty that she is going to put applecare on. So the sooner I can get this all wrapped up, the better.

It's 1/3'rd as thick as current phones.
It's 1/2 as light.
It's got 100 mAh more battery than most current phones.
It's got the patented Samsung SUPER AMOLED PLUS screen. It's much brighter, vivid, responsive screen than anything else. They've got it copyrighted. No one else comes close.
It's the fastest phone to date. Dual core 1.2 GHz benching faster than all other phones.
HDMI out.
1 GB of RAM. Android 2.3!

Overall, it's a lighter, faster, thinner, brighter and more vivid device, that works allot better for battery life due to the patented Super AMOLED Plus screen.

If anything, get yourself a throw away phone for a few weeks. Use it as a backup in case anything happens to your new phone when you get it. I bought a pre-paid T-Mobile phone for $19.95 and used it for 3 weeks. Then, whenever something happened to my smartphone, like dropping it, battery dying, flashing a ROM that broke it, ect.. I can just transfer SIM to my old Nokia bar phone and use it as a backup.

I personally myself like T-Mobile. Try to get in on T-Mobile now and lock in a rate plan with unlimited internet and low low monthly charges. Before AT&T acquires them. After such acquisition, you'll have LTE ability, and a much better network, but the horrible customer service of AT&T and the known limitations using devices and hike in your bill. (If the merger goes through).

I believe T-Mobile is the best company right now. Too bad they're not doing so well in profits.

Thanks for the info! On the carrier topic, I'm in Canada, so T-Mobile is a no go.

Been looking around for the last little bit, can't seem to find any solid information regarding the Samsung Galaxy S2 for Canadian customers. If anyone finds anything, a heads up would be much appreciated.
