This.
The article was, per say, not very correct, to say the least. Over-generalization seems to be the key for the article here.

I actually like OSX if you dig around it's basically Unix underneath so all the console commands are the same as Linux. Performance is also surprisingly good for normal use. That said getting it running on a non mac is quite a pain unless you have very specific hardware and I don't really want to buy overpriced Apple hardware so it's Linux and Windows for me.

I use to buy the mac stereotypes but I don't think they work anymore too many people with macs, iphones and ipads now for it to be a niche group of buyers.

I'm a Vegan, studied fine art, and love all types of movies. I could care less about having a Mac. Give me my sig rig anyday.

I feel that to some degree this is true, but it doesn't mean everyone is. Everyone that has a Macbook (and I really do mean everyone that has a Macbook that brings it anyway) at my school seems to be a bloody hipster, but thats just my observations.

Quit being so logical.
Heh, actually all the professional astronomers I know mostly use Macs. Most of the software is written for Unix which just so happens to work on this so called "dumbed down" OS known as OSX. I guess opening up terminal or MacPorts is too hard for most people.

Someone remind them that any computer not used commercially is a PC...Also, I disagree. Top Gear's worst episode is still funnier than The Office's best.
