Yes, I run an HX series and I only had one minor issue, the first one I got would power on my pc for a couple hours and I would come back to it off... wha???

after testing it on my power supply tester and all systems go.. I booted it and then watched tv in the computer room for couple hours and BAM computer turned off.. I knew it was the PSU.. contacted tiger direct and they shipped me a new one in a jiff.

The next one I got has been carried over to my current rig (its now 1.5years old) and I can report that I would buy another without a second thought. The one I bought carries a 7 year warranty so I know even if it were to go crazy again it would be covered by corsair.

Wonder what's up with the influx of hot girls into the PSU questionzone.

Oh right, offtopic and inappropriate again...

As mentioned you probably have more watt than you need being thrown at you. It's not harmful, except to the pocketbook.

So if you plan on sitting on top of your current rig, you could probably run off an Antec Neo Eco 400C, or 520C if you were fidgetty. If you want to go XFire 650W is your better bet, such as some of the ones mentioned in this thread of the XFX 650W series which happens to be modular works well too.

I don't have any links because I don't know stores/prices in England sorry.
