Don't let the magic smoke out... too late.

I hope your board is still good. sounds like only the 1394 port. Anything else not working right? Check for burn marks on the front and back of the board.

lol... no it wasnt very loud but clearly came from the board more like a small pop. My dad suggested it was a cap as well. @ RA27 yah it would have been a good ideah to take it out but i already tried everything and only thing that doesnt work is possible the 1394 port. Dont see any burnt marks.
