The feeling is obviously matter of preference, i like it a lot, also the rollover keys is matter of preferences, I never used ASDW in my life.
BTW is not marketed as "gaming keyboard" so can't be counted as an issue.

The build quality is adequate for a backlit keyboard with its features, I can't recall a better backlit keyboard which cost less, have you any idea ?

What sort of features does the illuminated have that the Black Widow doesn't?
The media keys in second function are useless.

The nice thing of having the media keys is to have a rapid shortcut e.g.to lower rapidly the volume, if one has to use two hands to accomplish the task is better to open the window's mixer

iRocks KR-6820E-BK. Backlit, expanded rollover, better build quality, better feel (due to using sliders over rubber domes, instead of Logitech's meh scissor switches). Costs around $25-$35.

@op I switched from the same keyboard to the blackwidow and I love it, the keys are really smooth and imo you get an amazing deal for a decent price.

I got the blackwidow for $60 on sale at Fry's and it just wasn't for me. The Site Eclipse just feels a lot smoother when gaming and typing to me. I didn't like the mechanical feel at all.

I bought mine a few days ago and it's a great keyboard. I mostly play SC2 and the responsiveness of the keys really helps during games. The only downside is it is my first mech keyboard and all I can think about is how cherry brown keys would feel now... Most likely will buy another keyboard just out of pure curiosity.

Lol. Same exact thing happened to me. Was looking at mech keyboards and my friend bought the BlackWidow along with a bunch of hardware upgrades for his rig; idiot forgot to get an extra 6pin for his gpu so he hasnt used the keyboard yet. I bought one the next day, definitely pissed him off.

I ordered BlackWidow Ultimate yesterday. Right now i am using Steelseries 6gv2 and the BW was on sale, so i couldnt stop myself from ordering one just to satisfy my curiosity on what the cherry mx blue switch feels like.

I love mine. Though I must admit, I probably would have held off a few more months if I knew that new Mionix one with the cherry mx blacks was coming out.

Never tried an irocks keyboard, but i tried the K300 which seem very similar.

And its just an average keyboard.

Nothing to do with the perfectstrockes ones.
