Hey guys I just installed a new cpu, x3 450 rana on my pc and whenever i play a game after about 20 min i get the bsod that is with the pc oc to only 3.4 which is nothing in my opinion. I also got a new driver for my gpu when i upgraded the card.. So do you guys think I got a lame cpu or could it also be that the gpu and cpu aint getting along xD

Did you leave the vcore on auto ?

is it your sig rig? if it is. try to reinstall the driver to the gpu. also, update all your drivers to make sure you have the latest ones.

make sure, your temps arent too high
your cables and plugs are all plugged, pins too.
nothing is lose
and everything is properly seated.

Woops sorry core voltage right? Yes its on auto and i will download the program thanks

Im also thinking of installing windows 7 just to see if it fixes the problem using new drivers for everything

I admit that I'm rusty when it comes to AMD troubleshooting, but those codes look like memory problems to me. I'd run memtest personally since your vcore (core voltage) already seems to be pushing it on the high side. (I thought 1.4v was as high as you want to go with x3s? - http://preview.tinyurl.com/3mvbp2c)

I'm sure someone else with more recent AMD experience can pipe in though.
